Redesigned Investopedia’s Top-of-Page News Section to Increase User Engagement
Led Investopedia's homepage redesign aimed at increasing news content to counter declining audience rates, collaborating with cross-functional teams including editorial, product designers, UX researchers, and general manager
Conducted competitor analysis, performed user testing on UserZoom, prototyped Figma mocks, and communicated business opportunities and product strategy in product specs
Led daily agile scrum development ceremonies utilizing JIRA for a team of 9, consisting of developers, designers, and QA analysts to align priorities, success metrics, goals, and roadmaps
Designed a Centralized Rating Platform
Directed the design of a mobile application that centralizes the functionalities of multiple review apps (i.e Yelp, Goodreads, etc) into one platform for users to share their recommendations on anything
Iterated 90+ Figma wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and delivered four 0 to 1 customer-facing design flows—home, search, saving, and rating
Collaborated with developers, assigning tasks to transition from beta to final product, focusing on rebranding and optimizing user experience to address pain points and improve user journey
Used Excel for data analysis and Google Forms for user research to identify pain points, guiding design adjustments that increased engagement by 5% and extended app usage by 10 minutes
